What to Bring?
Daypack
Layers (for warmth/sun protection/rain)
Sunscreen
Water (at least a liter) and Electrolytes
Food/Snacks
Hat/Sunglasses
Hiking Boots/Shoes preferred
Hiking Poles if needed

Priciples of "Leave No Trace"
1. Be Considerate: Share the trail and yield to other hikers and bikers. Take breaks away from trail.
2. Respect Wildlife: Keep a safe distance and do not approach
3. Leave what you find: Don't collect items from the trail like rocks or sticks. Do not pick flowers.
4. Dispose of Waste Properly: Never leave trash on the trail, always carry out and throw in trash or take home.
5. Plan Ahead and Prepare: Wear appropriate clothing and shoes and prepare for varying weather. Bring hiking poles if needed and extra water and food.
6. Travel on Durable Surfaces: Stay on the trail and travel only on designated trail and surfaces and avoid going offtrail whenever possible to avoid damage to surrounding area and erosion issues.
